The Lambda Community (LC) is conceived as a friendly living center designed to serve a highly diverse population.  Lambda membership will include gay, lesbian, transgendered, single men and women without families and others who have found prejudice in their lives or want to live in a dynamic, innovative community.  It is anticipated that Lambda Community will be a hybrid community.  Lambda will have both residential facilities and also support those who may want to Age in Place; that is, stay where they are for as long as they can. This community will be noted for being a productive, joyful, healthy and relaxing environment wherein the different skills of individual members can be tapped for the benefit of all.
